Panini Grills & Presses
- I own & use the Cuisinart GR-300WSP1 Elite Griddler to make my Bread Dad panini recipes. I like this Cuisinart machine because it is a wide panini grill with top and bottom heating/grilling elements. FYI – Top & bottom heating “plates” on a panini machine means there is no need to flip a panini over during grilling. I don’t want to flip a panini over during grilling (because this increases the chance that it will fall apart during the grilling).
- Other Popular Panini Presses & Grills – A list of the best sellers on Amazon.
Panini Tools – These tools will help to reduce any potential panini “disasters”.
- Extra Wide Heat-Resistant Non-Scratch Spatulas – I like to use large pancake spatulas (with large widths) when placing and scooping up my paninis. If you use small/narrow spatulas, the paninis have a greater chance of falling apart or falling off the spatula. You also want to buy soft non-scratch spatulas in order to avoid damaging the surface of your nonstick panini press.
- Heat-Resistant Non-Scratch Tongs – Another tool that can help you to pick up your panini.
- Pastry Brush – For “brushing” melted butter or olive oil on your paninis.
- Serrated Knife – You will need a good serrated knife to slice through the semi-hard & toasted crust of a panini.
- Oven Gloves – Panini grills & presses get very hot. Therefore, you need to use good oven gloves or oven mitts to protect your hands from hot panini grills & presses.
